Indie game and what it is
It comes from the English term independet game. It is a game created by an individual or a small team without financial support from a publisher.
We're not a big studio. We're just a husband and wife team who like board games and have created our own.
Creating was fine. But now we're in the publishing phase, which is challenging for aspiring creators.
You can help us by telling your friends about the game. And most importantly - if you want to buy Last in the Woods, please do so via the campaign on Gamefund.

The campaign will run from 8.1.2026 17:00 to 8.2.2026 19:00.

How to play
The goal of the game is clear - to be the last one in the forest.
The game is competitive, but players do not fight each other. In fact, the game itself fights against the players.
Imagine you find yourself in the woods, but you have nothing. How long can you survive?
You can explore the forest and find some raw materials, make equipment, kill an animal to get its skin, or eat and drink—which you probably should...
At the same time, you will have to react to a random event every game round. These are divided by difficulty from 1 to 4. The first event in the deck is always a quiet day. After a while, you start to miss...
At the start of the game, you choose a character (each with a unique ability that will help you in the forest) and set your life meter to the full number, 6.
Every time you fail to defend yourself against an animal attack or take shelter from a storm, you lose a life. 💔
There are 22 random events in total, some of which may surprise you.
